I Picked Me

Final vote: 1–0.

Faceless 3/4 rear view of an original cartoon man in a black tux jacket with a white collar and a black bow tie peeking out at the side. The identity cue is his hair: shoulder-length, uneven, chunky freeform locs in black-brown falling around the head and neck, bunched up on top, with bare skin at the temple for a slightly receding hairline. He jabs a big thumb back at his own head (with motion ticks) while his other hand checks a clipboard OFFICIAL BALLOT headed HEADLINER: three green-checked ME boxes, a crossed-out SOMEONE ELSE, and a red APPROVED BY: ME stamp below the boxes. Warm orange-to-purple halftone sun. THE FOOTBALL COMMITTEE HAS DECIDED: header, big orange/yellow I PICKED / ME., small FINAL VOTE: 1–0.
